Description
This pale brown sp. has few wing markings and closely resembles, Bradina aeclusalis Walker & B. adhaesalis but is slightly paler than B. adhaesalis Walker. They differ in the post median lines of both FW & HW. In B. adhaesalis FW it angles inwards from the subcosta, whereas in B. admixtalis it is smoothly curved meeting the costa at close to perpendicular In the HW in admixtalis the line goes close to the tornus but in B. adhaesalis it follows a sub-tornal curve. In B. aeclusalis both lines are nearly straight. Very similar to B. macaralis which is less well marked and the two are best resolved by genitalic examination.
In Bradina there is pronounced sexual dimorphism with males having very elongate abdomens with long pale hair pencils at the tip.
