Generic placement uncertain but here we treat it as Gadessa. This may be a var. of P. nicoalis.
Description
A dark ochreous brown taxon with blackish-brown ante-median and post-median lines. The FW PML is coarsely serrate in the middle and it is retracted after the centre towards the median position (i.e. it loops). The FW has an elongate spot in the FW cell but it seems to lack the small punctum at the base of the cell, present in a typical P. nicoalis. The termenae of the wings have a narrow crenulate pale ochreous and brownish marginal band and the cillia are short and dark. Distally to the PML after the mid-point the subtermenal and subtornal areas are suffused with dark brown. Dorsally the head, thorax and abdomen are pale ochreous with a black spot near the tip of the abdomen. The intersegmental areas of the abdomen are paler. The HW is greyish brown with faint AML & PML the apex is more suffused with dark brown.
