Taxonomy
Scoparia sp. 25. A single un-identified specimen seen and photographed at Sabah (KML) with no voucher specimen.
Description
A morphotype with typical scoparid colours and a FW patterning of white speckled with dark grey and black. Oddly there is a fulvous patch on the FW subcosta base of one wing which is probably damage. On the FW note the distinctive pair of large black spots (proximal & cubital stigmas) in the median band. The HW is pale with greyish shading. The legs are banded black and white.
A similar morphotype, Scoparia sp. 10, seen at Sabah, Crocker Range N.P., Gng. Alam Substation, has much lighter patterning.
Similar in appearance to Scoparia montícola Nuss, 1998: 456 TL Philipines (Mindanao, Mt. Agtuuganon).
