Description

The delicate pale fawn strigulated pattern is present on Up and Un. There are distinctive white spots on the FW costa and white rings on the lower half of the antennae. S. atomosalis and S.ochracea are extremely alike but S.ochracea has tiny stigmata on Up FW and S. atomosalis lacks these. The stigmata are complete on the underside in both species. However the extent of these markings may be sex dependent. S. perfusa is very similar to S.ochracea and S. atomosalis but is without tiny white stigmata on Up and Un FW. However the white spots along the FW costa are considerably larger and white rings are present on the lower half of the antennae when seen under magnification, as in S. atomosalis.
