Taxonomy
The holotypes of Mimorista marginalis Warren 1896b: 114-115 are from India (Meghalaya, Khasia Hills) and Burma (Tennaserim Donaut Hills). Although listed as a junior subjective syn. of Ategumia geographicalis (Guenée, 1854) in the LepIndex, Shaffer (1970, [note on LepIndex card]) considered this a good sp. In the BMNH are the types of two similar spp. [figured here]. It is probable these are not conspecific and the morphotype from Burma may be an undescribed Boyodes sp. similar to Botys euryphaea Meyrick, 1932, 318.
